Growth is uncomfortable, but so is staying at a place youve outgrown. I never thought i would be a wonderer, never ever thought i would build a life away from my home country and fit in so well. But here i am... thriving more than i could ever imagine. Learning, relearning, questioning and constantly changing. Miami taught me sm but most importantly how to trust the timing of it all, i got here in 2018 not knowing how to speak english, and in 6 months I successfully broke the language barrier, got into college, started as a business major, hated it and assumed something was wrong w me. Until I crossed paths with psychology and found my passion. Nowadays i can’t see myself pursuing any other career, it was meant to be exactly how it was. Ive met so many beautiful and rare souls along the way. People leave, but the lessons stick w you to eternity. With the hardest goodbyes I also found my favorite hellos, and found a better version of myself. 
Every single time life kicked me in the butt, i thought i had no strength to stand up again, thought of giving up many times... but i always tried to picture my lil younger self and what SHE would like to see me conquer. Little did i know i was only gathering and building more bravery through those challenging lessons. Little did i know how much I would stop fearing the uncomfortable changes and instead I’d be embracing them because without those hard phases, i wouldve never became who I am today. Once a beloved friend of mine told me that "nobody is gonna hit as hard as life, but it aint how hard you hit; its about how hard u can get hit, and still keep moving forward" and that stuck w me forever. Anyhow, Im still learning how to navigate life, but hey younger self...We've done a pretty good job so far, and i could not be more proud. Living abroad is such a wholesome experience, and i fell in love with the vulnerability of it all. Graduating in a foreign country was definitely the biggest achievement of my existence so far, i will forever be a panther and bleed blue and gold. Cant wait to see what the universe has in store for me next. Onto my next chapter🫡 #pawsupfiu
