Do you want me to bring this series back or what 😌 💵 here’s a little business transparency for Q1, and let’s talk about what you’re actually seeing:

2025 was my 5th year doing business full-time… and did you know 50 (!!) percent of businesses fail by this time?!

Not us 😌

But was year 5 WAS the slowest year of growth. We basically maintained (thankfully!) but with a few services on pause, less capacity for me to do my own 1:1 work, and higher costs of operation (mostly people) we sort of plateaued. 

Hey, it creates a fun challenge for me to work through in 2026. So how do we tackle margins? Pretty simple. 

1. Cut expenses. 

This is actually visible here. My take-home pay would be noticeably reduced for a bit, miscellaneous expenses cut, one less team member, and I signed our family up through Justin’s corporate health insurance to cut back on that more than $1,000 bill.

2. Increase income.

I’m thankful that I built something with multiple strong revenue streams that can keep us moving when the other slows down, but I can’t take away the fact that the coaching & education component of @influencewithimpact did wonders for revenue. I’m just figuring out what that next chapter looks like.

I’m also doing a lot of my own brand campaign work (more than $60K in Q1 alone!) to ensure I’m covering my own pay with my own involved work.
