Antimicrobial resistance is one of the biggest threats to global health — and most people have never heard of it.

The right antibiotic at the right time saves lives. But every time antibiotics are overused or misused, we inch closer to a world where they stop working entirely. For routine infections. For surgery. For your loved ones.

What can you do? Listen to your doctor or pharmacist when they tell you whether you actually need antibiotics — because one day, someone you love might need them to work.
