Big NHS change has come into place that affects how you contact your GP 👀 @dhscgovuk

From 1 October, all GP practices in England must keep their online consultation forms open from 8am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The idea is to end the 8am phone rush, free up phone lines, and make access fairer.

But will it actually work in practice?
Because digital systems only help if people can use them easily — and if surgeries have enough staff to respond.
