Here is how to get interviews and offers at tech conferences👇

✅ Bring 250+ business cards.

These should include your name, intended role, headshot, and a QR code that leads to a website with all of your social media links and portfolio site.

✅ Bring 100+ copies of your resume.

Make sure it is clean, readable, and easy to skim by recruiters.

Include contact info, the position you’re seeking, education, skills, experience, and leadership.

✅ Dress business professional.

Wear a dress, suit, dress pants, a blouse, makeup, etc.

However, make sure you wear comfortable shoes like sneakers, especially because you’ll be walking the entire day. 

Skip the uncomfortable high heels or flats.

✅ Prepare a 1 minute elevator pitch.

This includes who you are, what you do, what role you’re looking for, and how you’d fit into the company.

✅ Do your research on companies that interview.

Know which companies are interviewing and hiring by checking on their websites beforehand.

On the day of the conference, go to the interview hall and see which companies have the most interview booths.

Go to the career fair and ask company booths for onsite interviews.
