Ok so we talked about getting the pre approval letter but some of you wasn’t sure where to go to obtain that.  You can go to your bank or a lender to get a letter. You also during this time want to understand what type of loan you want to get. Do you want a conventional loan or a FHA loan. 

With understanding you don’t want to be house poor that also includes what type of neighborhood you want to live in some communities have an HOA ( Home owners Association) and this also depends on your taxes in that area of you have high taxes you will most likely have a high mortgage payment. These are things you want to consider when buying especially if you are doing it alone as a single mom. Or if you are just alone with no kids.  You want to make sure you are saving. 

For me I had a 612 credit score and needed to get it or try to get it higher than a 680 and I did in just 6 months.  It’s possible 🙏🏽 Depending on which loan you go with will determine your down payment.
