If unlimited PTO has no haters, I am dead. 

Don’t get me wrong, there are companies that use it right… but there are way more that are using it wrong. 

People tend to use less time off when it’s not guaranteed, because as Americans we are socialized to believe that any time off is “selfish”. 

If your employer isn’t encouraging you to take your time off… they’re just using unlimited PTO to save some money 😬
