🚨 The road to Bagby Hot Springs sometimes closes due to weather. As of Feb 21 it’s CLOSED due to snow so don’t attempt to visit until it reopens. You can check BagbyPreservation.com for updates

📍Bagby Hot Springs in Mount Hood National Forest
🚙 2 hour drive from Portland, Oregon 
🥾 Hike is 1.5 miles each way (mostly flat)
💵 $5 cash day use fee

🅿️ 30 parking spots
⚠️ There have been reports of break ins so don’t leave valuables in your car
🏕️ Campground next to trailhead ($25/night)
🚿 2 Changing bathrooms at the bathhouse
🛁 There’s only a few cedar tubs  that are first come, first served
🕰️ Wait times can be 30 min - 2+ hours for a tub

✨Best time to visit is weekdays early morning or late afternoon (around 4pm it cleared out and I almost had it to myself)

🧽 Drain and scrub your tub after use
🚫 Don’t add anything to the water
🩹 If you’re immunocompromised or have open cuts, this may not be the adventure for you
