I found the Sedona of Mexico and this is how to spend the perfect 24 hours here👇🏼

Tepoztlán is thought to be the birthplace of Quetzalcóatl, one of the most important gods in Aztec. Because of this Tepoztlán has long been considered a spiritual and energetic place. This makes it a great place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding beauty while still having enough activities to keep you busy for a 24 hour stay!

DAY 1
💦 Check into Hotel Orgánico for insane pool and mountain views (costs about $200 per night) or splurge for a stay at Amomoxtli if you’re feeling fancy (it’s gorgeous, but expensive at $600-$1200 per night)
🌮 Dinner at Margarita Concept Kitchen (this is a MUST but reservations are required)
🍹 Grab a giant street margarita and wander the downtown plaza

DAY 2
🥐 Enjoy the free breakfast at your hotel
☕️ Walk to get coffee at Tieta (so good!!)
🥾 Hike Tepozteco Hill and Tepozteco lookout point to the Aztec pyramid (it’s steep and uneven terrain so wear sturdy shoes and be ready for a workout and sometimes crowds)
🎨 Go mural hunting around town since there’s so many to find
⛪️ Visit the old church downtown
🥗 Enjoy a farm to table dinner at Parcela (reservations usually required)
