Yep, that’s me!!

They told me I couldn’t do Jeep trails…

And guess what?

They were right. 🤣

I’ve spent the last 2 years building Astro — lifting him, dialing in the suspension, adding the gear, partnering with some of the biggest names in overlanding to make this CRV trail ready. In my head? We were unstoppable.

In reality?

Jeep trail said: “Respectfully… no.”

We made it about 47 feet in before I heard every skid plate I own introduce itself to a rock. Astro was fighting for his life. I was airing down, airing up, reconsidering my life choices. Meanwhile, @_wakeupandwander_  jeep crawls past me at idle like it’s a Costco parking lot.

Look… Astro can do a LOT. Desert runs. Forest roads. Snow days. Escalante-type adventures with the crew. He’s  taken me places most people would never expect a CRV to go.

But Jeep trails?

Yeah… we’re gonna sit those out. 😂

And honestly? That’s okay. Because overlanding isn’t about proving you can do everything. It’s about knowing your rig, pushing your limits (a little), and laughing when you get humbled by a trail named something aggressive like “Widowmaker.”

Astro might not conquer Jeep trails…

But he’ll always conquer the journey. 🏔️
