Tonight, the mountains stood still as the northern lights danced above town—pink and purples rippling over frozen waterfalls, old brick buildings, and crampon-scarred streets. 🌌❄️

It felt like the sky itself was welcoming us back.

Ice Fest 2026 is here, and once again Ouray becomes more than a town—it becomes a meeting point for climbers, dreamers, first-timers, and legends. Headlamps flicker, ropes coil, laughter echoes off canyon walls, and the cold reminds us we’re alive.

From glowing skies to frozen climbs, this place never fails to remind me why we chase winter, why we gather, and why some towns feel like home—even if just for a few icy days.
