A few stills from the fly fishing YT vid.. Wondering if that will be the last fly fishing trip in the van.. 

I found a GMC C5500 4x4 Kodiak truck, that is almost the ideal truck for an overlanding box truck build… A pic of the truck for sale, and pic of a well done Kodiak I saw a week ago are at the end of the post. I would be building a box truck instead of truck camper though

I’ve lived in the van for almost 5 years now, it has been amazing and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.. (But I might trade it for a 4WD with a shower in it) 😂😅

The idea of selling the van still seems so foreign, same with doing an entire new build out this summer.

But I am pretty stoked on the truck in Indiana. I told Rick if I could find a Kodiak 4x4 with the 6.6 durmax for 10k I’d buy it tomorrow.(20-30k truck generally)

I found a Kodiak 4x4 with the 6.6 durmax for 10k the next morning. After months of searching and only seeing them for 20k+.. pretty similar scenario of telling Rick and Dave, I’ll find my dog out where I’m camping some day, and then Cassie comes running down the road…

I feel as if the coincidences and timing of it make it seem like a no brainer to make it happen.. but I’m trying to digest the decision. 

Van homies, hit my DMs with your thoughts on bigger rigs, or tag any of your box truck living or Kodiak owning friends to get their input! I need all the opinions wether your in a van, a diesel guy, or just have thoughts on it
