I could be anywhere in the US.. but I choose to be here🏔️❤️

Colorado is my birth state, and where I spent my whole adult life. I moved to Colorado just weeks after high school, with intentions of doing CO things.

Snowboarding, dirt biking, mountain biking, skate park exploring, hiking and camping.

After being in Colorado for a few years, I realized I had never made it snowboarding. It was too expensive to justify..
I nearly quit BMX entirely. And the most dirt biking I was doing, included riding to work. Or to the grocerie store on my 450.

I was spending all my time and energy working, to still barely be able to get by.
Occasionally being able to buy a new toy.
And then not be able to afford to use the toys, monetarily and physically.

I wanted to live in Colorado, but not with $2,000 a month living expenses. That I could barely afford, even with working as much as possible.

So how does one live a state that has a median home cost of 600k, at 20 and still be able to have fun?

Build out a van!!

I’ve lived in the van full time for around 4 years now. Almost every summer is spent in CO. Why?

I still can’t get enough of living in Colorado how I envisioned it in highschool.

Waking up in the mountains everyday, dirtbike ready to be ridden up the trails.
Literally living at the skatepark for days on end, or at the base of the ski/mtb resort.
Feeling like a local in my home state, but doing it the right way this time.

Not to mention Colorado is incredibly van friendly, from the weather, abundance of free camping, and like minded locals.

The majority of people out here love bikes, fishing, hiking, or just being in the mountains and that makes for a bunch of good peoples 🙏🏼🏔️

Maybe next summer I’ll actually explore, but here’s to another summer spent in Colorado living in the van!🥂🚐💨

Have you been to Colorado before?⬇️
