Morocco, undeterred by the earthquake that struck the Al-Haouz region, proudly hosts the "rising power" Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank for the first time on the African continent and in Morocco, in the Red City, Marrakech, from October 9 to 15.

Preparing a major city for a significant event shortly after a massive natural disaster would be a challenge for any country, regardless of its wealth.

It is with great pride that I join the MPT team to coordinate the official coverage of these annual meetings with interviews, highlights, and best moments of the world's largest institutional and financial event.

 The mission is beautiful, and I wish for my team and myself all the success needed to meet the requirements of the organizers and to represent our country, Morocco, which has successfully presented a model unique to its history, culture, and development pace to the world.

It is time to tell the world that success can be achieved in Africa and that a place can be made in the global economy.

 Thanks to the vision of King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, Morocco has equipped itself with all the assets and an unwavering ambition to establish its own development model, which is being implemented to provide real solutions to the challenges at hand.

Having returned to the country 12 years ago, I can testify, like many of us, to the progress that has been made in the social, societal, economic, and environmental dimensions, in a context marked by challenges related to food security, climate change, and geopolitical tensions.

 Despite limited natural resources and social development challenges, the Kingdom has demonstrated that sectoral strategies have enabled significant breakthroughs through financial partnerships.

Long live Morocco!
