Thoughts on Conscious Self-Expression…

As humans, when we are born, we subconsciously tie our worth and well-being to how much we live for another, as a form of survival in our formative years.

As we age and unmask the projections of society, what is often called into question is our attachments to our own perceived identity.

Parts of who we thought we are may shape shift and transform as we challenge who we once were into who we have now become.

Moving closer towards one’s own autonomy, the attachments to the old self shed like a snake leaving behind old skin.

Cell by cell we replaces what we thought we knew, with an expanded embrace towards the unknown.

Learning less from the projections of others, we embody and integrate whatever it is we give attention to in our intentions.

Like mortar and pestle, we grind down our essence to the very molecular cellular matter that we originated from.

From the dust and matter “prima materia” we rebirth and grow in consciousness, sculpting from the clay a life worth living, divergent from the externalized projections and dogma, re-focused on the internal curation of meaning within.

The genetic encoding of intergenerational expression, transmuting pain into power, we start to accept that we wouldn’t be who we are today without what hardship we experienced in the past. Embracing all parts we compassionately evolve into wholeness through unconditional regard for all parts, survival and adaptive that brought us here.

We did not deserve the harm others projected onto us, yet we transmute it anyways, so as to heal our own soul and step into our rightful self expression without doubt that we belong here.

Living organisms of the animal kingdom don’t question their worthiness, they exist and express without comparison to others.

What outdated identities did you have to shed to become who you are in this moment now?

What projections keep you stuck in past versions of yourself?

How has self expression changed for you as you grow?
