I had the pleasure of meeting an incredible mind and spirit Nisha Kavalam , during Atlanta Tech Week , and when I saw her recent LinkedIn post about gathering with intention, I knew I had to be there! 

Yesterday she hosted a gathering that centered on something many leaders overlook, intentionality in how we bring people together.

The conversation focused on defining purpose, creating meaningful experiences, and designing spaces that drive real connection and impact. It was a strong reminder that effective community building and event planning isn’t just about logistics, it’s about clarity, strategy, and thoughtful leadership.

As I continue building the ATL Tech Bae community, this experience reinforced the importance of being intentional about the environments we create, whether for professional communities, business initiatives, or personal networks. The quality of the space directly influences the quality of engagement and outcomes.

Grateful for the opportunity to learn, observe, and apply these insights as I continue creating spaces that foster growth, collaboration, and empowerment.
