Self-awareness will really change how you date… and how you see yourself too…

This past year, I had to accept something about me:

I’m a lover girl. 
Feminine. Nurturing. Understanding. 
I love deeply and naturally pour into the right man.

For a long time I wondered… was I too much?

But dating taught me this:
You can be everything a man says he wants , and still meet a man who isn’t ready.

I started dating older men (40+) and experienced more respect, patience, affection, and emotional maturity. I felt more valued and understood.

But age doesn’t equal readiness.

Some men meet you, recognize your value, and realize you’re everything they want… yet their life, truth, or situation doesn’t align. Then comes: “I don’t want to lose you.”

And that’s when self-awareness kicks in.

Sometimes it’s not incompatibility. 
It’s attachment without accountability.

They want the woman… but not the change required to have her.

So this season hasn’t been about questioning my worth, it’s been about sharpening my discernment.

Watching actions over words. 
Honoring red flags. 
Speaking my truth. 
Standing confidently in who I am.

I’m a single mother of three, and the right men don’t judge that, they respect the woman I’ve become because of it.

Dating hasn’t made me bitter. 
It made me clear.

I’m not closing my heart. 
I’m learning who actually has the capacity to hold it.

We’re not failing at love. 
We’re learning alignment. ❤️
