Story time: Some of y’all may not know, but TT Don loves the kids — and the kids love me right back! 🥰

There was a time I used to pick up my friends’ sons on some weekends — it was a rotation of four little ones. I did it to help my friends out, many of whom were single parents at the time, and we’d spend the day together, go to birthday parties, or just hang out and have fun. Those were some of the best memories. 💫

As they got older, life got busy — school, sports, activities — and the calls and FaceTimes started happening less and less. But I know they still love me, and I sure still love them. 🥰

Fast forward to now, my niece and I finally planned a date! She’s been busy all summer, so when she said, “TT, pick me up from school,” I did just that. 🙌🏽 I had this whole day planned — her favorite Thai restaurant and a few other surprises — but when I asked what she wanted to do, she said: “Target and Sky Zone!” 😂 I love that she knew exactly what she wanted.

Her heart is so pure — she even picked out a gift for her cousin before grabbing a few things for herself. And when she went over her gift card limit, there was no way I was letting her put anything back. 🥹

She said, “This was the best day ever!” — and my heart just melted. 💕

Moments like these remind me how blessed I am to pour into the next generation — to add to their joy, spend time, and make memories that last. Even her mom @limegreenmb said it gave her a much-needed break, and that meant so much. So glad I could help, it was my pleasure 🥰

Looking forward to our next TT + niece date already 💞
