SUNDAY PINS // Two years ago I was on an aimless Sunday drive along Highway 30.  Miles and miles of evergreens which Forest Park encompasses, and then suddenly a break — a golf course, perfectly situated in an open valley, lined with rows of trees shaved upward to allow sunlight to flood the fairways.

It was tucked away in the NW Hills of Portland, close enough to play it regularly, but far enough that it’s an escape — rather, a home away from home. With my curiosity peaked, I mentally bookmarked Wildwood... our paths must cross again.
