This is what I am investing in ⬇️

The active ones who track the performance on their account daily and trade to optimize for success and the lazy investors who are long term investors— they want to invest in asset classes that have proven successful and then, leave it be to grow 
.

I belong in group 2 and index funds are that girl when it comes to the asset group for lazy investors like me 
.

While there are a couple on the market, these are the ones I invest in 
.

➡️VTI (Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF) 
➡️VOO(Vanguard S&P 500 ETF)
➡️VOOG (Vanguard S&P 500 Growth ETF)
➡️SCHG ( Schwab U.S Large Cap Growth ETF) 
.

I am investing in these for 3 reasons: 
.

1. They have shown great growth rates since their inception. For e.g, VOOG has a growth rate of around 15% since launch, VOO around 14% and VTI around 8% 
.

2. They pay out dividends which will over time allow me to earn money passively and as someone who wants to become work optional soon —- passive income is the goal! 
.

3. They are a part of so many investor portfolios: if you don’t have it yet, I would recommend downloading Blossom. It’s like lemon8 but only for investors and you can see the portfolio and performance  of other investors which is amazing 
.

BORING STOCKS 
.

The other asset I invest in is my company’s stock though their ESPP ( employee stock purchase plan) 
.

I work at one of the world’s top 6 big tech companies and they offer 10% discount to employees on stock purchase 2 times a year. I invest 5 to 15% of my income towards ESPP 
.

With their investment into AI, I am betting that the company will continue to grow 
.

I started investing with $20 and few years ago and while my portfolio isn’t at $109k yet, it is slowly growing
.
