Wrapping up my internship microsoft here are 10 key lessons I have gained from my time here 
.

1.	📖 Storytelling is key! Thought I nailed slides, boy, still have lots to learn. 
.

Microsoft is big on storytelling because no matter how awesome your ideas, you must know how to communicate them for it to have impact 
.

2.	🗣️ Start with a listening tour when joining a team. Familiarize yourself with others and know your team’s  key partners, 
.

It will help you understand your teams goals and challenges plus, it makes getting support so much easier 
.

3.	🎧 Listening is a superpower! All the execs I spoke with highlighted that most people are  like radio stations, the best people to work wIth LISTEN
.

4.	🔄 Embrace feedback! Experience won’t cover everything. Adapt and grow, baby!
.

5.	📊 Pressure test your deck! before presentations 
.
Let stakeholders and partners give feedback. They will uncover tactical blockers and hidden loopholes for you 
.

6.	🛠️ Microsoft’s tools are 💯! PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook, and Edge rock my world. Excel? Uh, I’m working on it! 😅
.

I was amazed at how good these tools are - leverage them 
.

7.	👥 Amazing people make a difference! Microsoft’s collab  culture rocks! Choose a company with great people—it matters! 
.

no matter how good the product, if the people suck, the work will suck too 
.

8.	🙏 Show gratitude as an intern! that’s all you have to offer 
.

Thank people, give kudos both publicly and privately , be helpful, and drop that entitlement. Gratitude goes a long way!
.

9.	🧠 Always clarify! Ask “just so I understand” and reiterate. Don’t leave meetings guessing, gain clarity!
.

10.	🆘 Ask for help! Teammates, partners, manager, mentor—seek those willing to lend a hand.
.

11.	🌈 Microsoft’s intern program is the best! Diversity, good pay, awesome benefits, intern consideration - 10/10
.

Consider it for an internship ! Yes, it’s a legacy company but, it is so much better than people think 
.
