What would you do if you weren’t scared of what people would think?

I remember the months leading up to me creating content and sharing it online 
.

I was so so scared especially that I would look confused
.

Who starts off talking about business, then pivoting to a business then back to talking about business, money and personal development 🤷🏽‍♀️
.

Me 🤦🏽‍♀️😁
.

The key thoughts that drove me to take the plunge were 👇🏾 
.

#1. CHOOSING “I AM GLAD I DID” OVER “I WISH I DID”
.

I imagined myself at 80 and thought “what do I want to feel? regret or fulfillment” 
.

I don’t want to be 80 and thinking “I wish I “ , I want to be 80 and saying “I am glad I” 
.

If there is something you have in your heart to do but find yourself struggling with fear of judgment 
.

Ask yourself “when I am 80, which group of people do I want to be in? 
.

The “I am glad I” or the “I wish I” 
.

#2. I HAD TO REMEMBER, I AM NOT THAT SPECIAL 
.

Most people will only use me for 1 hour of gossip, if I am lucky, I get 2 😊
.

Then, they will move on with their lives. People are busy worrying about their own lives to care so much about mine 
.

#3. IT’S MY LIFE, MY STORY TO TELL 
.

Whatever it is people choose to say, I want my kids to always hear
.

“Your mom was brave in the pursuit of her dreams. She never gave up. She failed a couple of times but never quit and she went on to create her dream life and impact lives all over the world” 
.

My kids would face their own shares of life battles and I hope to be a source of inspiration reminding them that If I could, they can too 
.

#4. WHAT’s THE ALTERNATIVE? 
.

In my head, the alternative looks like , live a normal life, have kids, have a normal 9-5, maybe be a housewife , grow old, die 
.

Whenever I picture that lufe, I am quickly inspired to keep doing, keep going 
.

There is nothing wrong with that life but, this version of me doesn’t want it 
.

Don’t let fear of judgment deny you of your dream life, don’t sacrifice your dream life on the alter of other people’s opinions 
.
