This beautiful moment was captured upon celebrating a win after Talent Show Round of the @thebxpuertoricanparade Cultural Pageant at @barriobx 🇵🇷 Wanted to share this memory on @tmartinez87 ‘s birthday to share how Barrio BX truly is a safe space for uniting familia through comida, cultura, música, y amor.

Wearing this sash and crown as Reina de Guánica is so much more than a title it’s a sacred responsibility. As I lead into Puerto Rican Festival Weekend, my heart is overflowing with gratitude for this blessing. 🌺

With every event, I’ve been gifted deeply intimate moments. Strangers becoming kin as they openly share their stories, their pride, their pain, and their dreams with me. Every time someone approaches me with tears and says, “Eres de Mi Pueblo,” I feel the weight and beauty of this calling. I’m more than ever, anticipating coordinating a homecoming to contribute to giving back to my Pueblo, and my community here in the Bronx and back in my island. 🏝️❤️

This journey has exemplified me that representation is more than just visibility, it’s about transforming our shared stories into a movement of purpose. I carry each voice, each conversation, and each embrace with me, knowing this mission is far more significant than me. 

I said yes to this experience and own my title as 2025 Reina in full alignment to what has always been my passion being a Proud Latina - and that is, to lead with heart, to uplift our comunidad, and to ensure that every Nuyorican, every Boricua, sees themselves reflected with dignity and love.

May you see yourselves represented in every room. And if you don’t see yourself there, know you can be the change and be the reason others know they BELONG. UNIDOS Somos Más Fuerte, Siempre! ✊🏽🇵🇷✨
