🇵🇷✨ On June, 3rd I had the honor of attending the 2025 Puerto Rican Flag Raising Ceremony at Bowling Green alongside 2nd Princess, cin_sere1 🙏🏽 #LatinoExcellence representado y presente to take up space.

A pivotal moment to celebrate our cultura in the heart of Lower Manhattan and mark our presence.

While this post for me personally is NOT an endorsement of Mayor Adams and NOT at ALL a reflection of my candidate for the upcoming election - I do want to acknowledge the importance of this specific tradition and what it symbolizes: pride, resilience, and the spirit of our people rising high.

What I do support is the historic appointment of the first-ever Latin AND  Puerto Rican Commissioner of NYC Parks added to the depth to this occasion. Over 40 years of service, and now leading the largest park system in the country. 

Every flag raised, every voice uplifted, and every space we enter is a reminder that we are here, thriving, and leaving legacies in these spaces where we otherwise wouldn’t have.
