💌 A handwritten card + letter writing session for students in Manatí, Puerto Rico, who will be receiving donated backpacks and school supplies at the start of August by @theboricuanextdoor in partnership with @_the_butterflyprojectnyc 

Huge love and credit to @dabodegaunion and @ninosdeboriken for fundraising $5,000+ and organizing the delivery of these donations directly to Puerto Rico 🙌🏽

🎒 Bring school supplies if you’d like to contribute, and come create messages of love, encouragement, and pride for our young Boricuas starting the school year strong.

👚 We’re also collecting new clothing donations for Bronx elders and families recovering from a devastating fire. Size(s) most needed include:

Men’s clothing: Sizes 4X–5XL

Shoes: Size 9+

Coats, jackets, rain gear, sweatpants, underwear, T-shirts, jeans: 2XL–5XL

🎤 Stick around for open mic night starting at 6PM! All artists, poets, and performers welcome!

🎨 All writing + art materials will be provided. Just bring your love, energy, and presence.
