Feliz cumpleaños para mi mamá 💐 eveemaria623 This crown and title I beam with pride and honor with is dedicated greatly to her. I represented mi abuela’s Pueblo, #guánica - who lives through my mother’s light.

We were both born into survival, taught to live in fight or flight like it was a language. But even in the darkest of circumstances, she miraculously found ways to light a path for me. And when she couldn’t, she held my hand as I navigated the complex journey of unlearning negative patterns passed down. I became a woman who created miracles using what I had - and never focused on what I lacked. Cycles end with me and rebirth begins  as I empower the next generation of leaders - through grace, faith and embracing my story.

This woman’s strength, I’m blessed to have inherited - who sacrificed dreams so I could chase mine in full force. She watered me with the little resources she had, even when the world left her dry.

That is why - today I bloom beautifully from the seeds once planted. Everything I am is a reflection of who she believed I would grow to be, the change. 

I am the soft place she never had. The softness transformed to strength. 
I am the living proof that healing is possible, that our lineage doesn’t end in pain, only healthier beginnings. I am the bold flame, of the candles she lights to protect me and keep me divinely guided as I pursue the assignment God placed in my heart. 

Watching me break the cycles, as I heal my inner little girl - I pray I inspire her to see, that it’s never too late to begin again, to reclaim your narrative, to reinvent who you’ve been to who you’re designed to be. Welcome to a brand new chapter, with a lifetime that has prepared you for your blessings. 

She is a Boricua Queen who passed her crown on to me, that I will ultimately pass down to future generations, con orgullo y amor 🇵🇷👑✊🏽
