Did you know: There’s a mountain you can ride THROUGH at this U.S. ski resort? 🤯 

Snowbird’s historic Peruvian Tunnel connects the front side of the mountain to Mineral Basin, a breathtaking alpine bowl with some of the most scenic skiing in Utah. 🙌

The ~4-minute magic carpet ride through the tunnel includes mining artifacts and exhibits before you emerge to panoramic views, expansive terrain, and some of the most memorable skiing at Snowbird.

This felt like a true hidden gem on the mountain and one of the most unique ski experiences we’ve had as a family. 

If you’re planning a @snowbird ski trip: 
👉you can access the tunnel via the Peruvian chairlift
🎿 You ride a conveyor “magic carpet” through the tunnel
🏔️ Mineral Basin terrain is mostly intermediate + advanced
❗️Note: no beginner/green runs in this area
