November & December 2025 Gratitude Photo Dump 🤍🍂✨

I’ve been trying to pause at the end of each month and reflect on meaningful everyday moments—the quiet joy in the ordinary. With the big trips, holidays, and end-of-year hustle, I never quite got around to November and December… so here we are ❤️.

I’ve already shared some of the “highlights” from these months and trips, but scrolling through my camera roll reminds me how much love lives in the in-between moments too:
• cooking together for friends and family
• my dad making delicious homemade Chinese food for us 
• trying new foods together in Japan (yes, our family revolves around food 😂)
• watching my kids enjoy the beautiful fall foliage as much as I do (growing up in New England I always loved fall 🍁 )
• watching my parents enjoying new experiences, even at age 77 - they loved teamlabkyoto 
• Jason playing 🎸 a holiday set with his hospital colleagues at a dive bar 
• Friendmas with our framily. 

Being able to bring both my parents to Japan over Thanksgiving was especially meaningful. With some health issues this past year, some multigenerational trips we’d hoped for had to be changed or canceled—so this one felt extra special. Seeing two of my aunts (in their 80s) in Taiwan during our brief layover also meant so much to our family.

Then there were orchestra concerts and swim meets— where we showed up and clapped for our kids. Not pictured were holiday celebrations with my work family- my consult liaison psychiatry team and department colleagues, who make every day at work rewarding and fun.

We wrapped up the year the best way possible: our whole family together: my parents, my brother’s family—and watching the kids try something new with their cousins. We rang in the New Year with close friends and full hearts. 🎉 

I never want to take a single day for granted. Here’s to continuing to notice, celebrate, and be grateful for the everyday moments, big or small, ahead 💛
