✨ October gratitude recap ❤️

Life at this stage is a lot — we’re two full-time physicians juggling work, call weekends, and tweens with their own busy and packed schedules. It’s meant being even more intentional with how we spend our time and energy. 

Looking back on October — with just 1.5 days of PTO for me, none for Jason (plus two weekends of call) — I think we did pretty good. 🙌 We showed up for our patients AND still made room for joy: a girls’ trip to Tucson, meeting up with littleradadventure and maliworkman (who snapped photo 8), a one-night family staycation at Crystal Cove Beach Cottages, celebrating a retiring colleague, cheering on the kids at swim meets, Science Olympiad, and orchestra concert, celebrating my birthday with my parents, savoring sunsets and home-cooked meals (the true way to my heart, lol), and ending the month with trick-or-treating. 🎃

Life’s busy and there’s always more behind everyone’s highlight reel…. but practicing gratitude helps me slow down and see how beautiful it all really is — even in the chaos. ✨
