✨ 46 years ✨

For the first half, I was figuring it all out — working through the messy process of discovering who I was and becoming comfortable in my own skin. Through angst and depression, trying to find where I fit when I often felt like I didn’t, navigating chronic back pain, heartbreaks….

But along the way in the second half, through different chapters and roles (wife, mom to babies- now to tweens, friend, patient, student, doctor, creative …), I found peace and comfort — with who I am, where I am, and how I show up in this world for the people and things I love.

Here’s some wisdom that has grounded me and helped me live with more gratitude and grace:

1. Live a life led with love.
2. Practice gratitude daily. It will help you appreciate the good things in your life 
3. Let go of what you can’t control.
4. Be yourself — don’t dim your light for others.
5. Notice the seasons of your life. You might not be able to do it all right now, but you have — and will — do so much over time.
6. Make time for play and for rest. 
7. Spend your time and energy on what truly matters.
8. Keep working on yourself — but also celebrate how far you’ve come.
9. Nurture your relationships and connections — they’re life’s greatest treasure.
10. Be present, and find wonder in the little things.
