We’ve picked strawberries in OC, apples in Julian & Oak Glen, peaches in LA, and oranges in Ojai. These days, our weekends are a lot busier with tween activities, so I was thrilled when they said yes to a detour to Quixote Farm on our San Diego day trip. I’ve had this dreamy spot saved forever! We met Lara, the owner, who was so warm and welcoming. In addition to opening their property to the community for fruit picking, they have a few on-site Airbnbs. She mentioned glamping might be coming soon too!
