June #PhotoDump 👩🏻‍⚕️🍓🎳🌴🛥️🤿🍽️💃

June was full of long workdays, an epic family vacation, an elementary school graduation, and everything in between. I taught med students about depression and suicide risk assessment, spoke on compassionate, multidisciplinary dementia care with my medical group, and shared my story on a wellness panel at the relishfoodwine festival. I also carved out time for fun and bonding over  a bowling session with colleagues.

We took our big summer trip, where I finally got to meet my longtime IG friend designedtoexplore and her awesome family aboard their catamaran in Fakarava. My brother and nephew joined us too. While my parents didn’t come on the sailing trip, they enjoyed a leisurely cruise and my mom’s bucket list dream of staying in an overwater bungalow in French Polynesia came true. 💙

Between all the work and travel, we came home to grounding moments: strawberry picking, farmers market strolls, the comfort of my dad’s Chinese cooking, and slow, home-cooked meals. 🍓

This month reflected so much of what I shared during my JOY talk at Relish—that joy isn’t something we stumble into. It’s something we choose.  This #photodump proof that I practice what I preach: to live intentionally, choose joy, practice gratitude, and hold close what truly matters. 💫
