Blueberry basil gin fizz🫐🍋🌿

2 oz gin @hendricksgin 
¾ oz lemon juice
1 oz blueberry basil syrup
1 egg white
Splash of club soda @fevertreemixers 
Lemon twist, to garnish
Basil sprig, to garnish 

Add gin, lemon juice, blueberry basil syrup, and egg white to a shaker and shake well. Add ice and shake again. Strain into a glass over ice and top with club soda. Garnish with a lemon twist and basil sprig

Blueberry basil syrup:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup water
¾ cup honey
8-10 basil leaves 
Combine blueberries, water, and basil in a small saucepan. Heat gently over medium heat, mashing berries slightly. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh, pressing berries to extract juice. Discard solids and basil. Let cool before using.
