Steak Salad Sundays Part 69: Caprese inspired steak salad with marinated tomatoes and nectarines 

For the salad:
Butter lettuce
Marinated tomatoes
Basil, chopped
Nectarines, sliced 
Marinated mozzarella (I like @galbanicheese )
Avocado, sliced 
Balsamic dressing 

Tomatoes:
1 pack cherry tomatoes (I love @sunsetgrown )
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar 
A few basil leaves, chopped 
1 shallot, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced 
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Splash of lemon juice 
1 tbsp honey

Dressing:
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 tbsp hot honey
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp mayo
