This painting and the mobiles accompanying it continue the dialogue initiated in the project I Prefer to See with My Eyes Closed, presented at the Museum of Modern Art Gunma, Japan, last March.
I have always been drawn to looking again at what we already know... to what happens when we observe something a second time. When familiar forms shift just enough to reveal what we hadn’t seen before.
Art history is not a fixed archive; it is a territory that rewrites itself every time we inhabit it with a new gaze.
To see, truly see, is to accept that there is always something we have yet to see.
These works are presented at this year’s Art Basel with galeriaomr 


Esta pintura y los móviles que la acompañan prolongan el diálogo iniciado en el proyecto I Prefer to See with My Eyes Closed, presentada en el Museum of Modern Art Gunma, Japón, el pasado marzo.
Siempre me ha interesado volver a mirar las cosas que ya conocemos... lo que sucede cuando observamos algo por segunda vez. Cuando las formas conocidas se desplazan apenas lo suficiente para revelar lo que antes no veíamos.
La historia del arte no es un archivo fijo, es un territorio que se reescribe cada vez que lo habitamos con una mirada nueva.
Ver, realmente ver, es aceptar que siempre hay algo que todavía no hemos visto.
