Happy Monday! My name is Safiya, your AI bestie!

I hope you learn something new or are reenergized for those that already know what it’s taken to get here. Let’s kick off with these 5 fun facts ⤵️

1️⃣ I am entering my 10th year in the technology industry - at the same company - as a Millennial! Yes, it can be done 😜
2️⃣ My technology career started as a MBA intern in 💻 @google NYC.
3️⃣ Then I decided that if you’re going to do tech you have to be close to the nucleus, Silicon Valley…so I moved to San Francisco ✈️ in 2015 and joined @microsoft @msftbayarea.
4️⃣ I’ve been customer facing the entire time, largely focused on Independent Software Vendors that we partner and compete with. That means I have a direct pulse on the market and our competitive landscape. It’s been quite the ride, working with incredible teams and watching the cloud ☁️ space explode from its early infrastructure days. Including…closing the first $1B cloud deal and winning the Platinum Club Award.
5️⃣ For the past 3 years I’ve been managing my own P&L and leading incredible teams of Account Directors and Technology Strategists. At Microsoft, we have utilized Artificial Intelligence for years, but the scale and impact that we are witnessing now thanks to @microsoftcopilot is unprecedented. And for those of you that have been here for a while, you know there’s no gatekeeping here. As an AI and Co-pilot power user, I will share what I can to help more of US thrive in this era of AI. So what does that mean? 👇🏾
