Do you have dual heritage? How do you connect with your culture?

For Dan Te Whenua Walker, it wasn’t always easy. He found connection to his Māori and Pākehā roots through his whānau (family and friends). His purpose was furthered with wanting his children to grow up proud of their heritage.

As founding member of Indigenous at Microsoft in Australia, he’s continuing to foster inclusion and even created a unique haka (traditional Māori dance) for Microsoft.
