I’m a mom of two amazing disabled kids. Every day, we navigate a world that doesn’t always make room for us — and yet, we keep going.

People see our strength, but what they don’t always see is the fear. The fear of losing the one thing that helps us survive: Medicaid. Without it, I honestly don’t know how we’d manage.

We don’t want pity. We want understanding. Support. Security.

I share this not for sympathy, but to remind others that families like ours are out here — fighting, loving, living fully — and needing systems that work with us, not against us.

My children deserve the world. And I’ll keep showing up every single day to make sure they get it. 💛♿
