“Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.” -Psalm 19:4-6

The sun rises the same way every day. Steady, certain, and full of purpose. It does not hesitate or wander, but follows the course set before it with strength and with joy. From the horizon it breaks forth, the whole earth and all things without exception are touched by its light. There is no place it does not touch, no corner it does not reach.

Creation speaks in this way. Not with words that we hear, yet its message is constant and unmistakable. Day after day it pours forth its testimony, revealing the glory, wisdom, and power of the One who made it. Everything the light touches belongs to God; there is no darkness, no place where God has no reach. No place where His voice is not heard, no people beyond His reach. The heavens declare it, the earth reflects it, and the rising sun carries it across the sky.

God has ordered it all with intention. The sun is not random or without purpose, but set in its place, running its course with strength and with joy. And if creation responds so faithfully, how much more should we? If the sun rises with such certainty, how much more should we trust the One who set it in place? The same God who commands its light is faithful in every promise He has made. Nothing escapes His reach, nothing falls outside of His care, and nothing is beyond His power.

So we look to Him with confidence. As sure as the sunrise, so is His Word. As constant as its light, so is His faithfulness. And just as the sun rises again and again, His truth continues to go forth, reaching the ends of the earth and calling all to see His glory.
