This is your sign to try cold water swimming😉 🥶 I’m a huge fan minus my slight fear of open water which is supposedly quite common. 
 
I wouldn’t want to quote what I’ve read about cold water swimming, as I’m certainly no expert but the british_heart_foundation nhsengland bupa.uk all have some really interesting info on their websites about the possible benefits of cold water swimming- so worth a look if your interested. 

All I know is even though I dread going in, once I’m in it’s so fun and I always feel great for the rest of the day! 

If you do give it a go I would reccomend packing something to make sure you can get warm once you get out!
