"We are a fiercely proud group of queer-identifying people and extraordinary allies. Our forebearers survived state-sanctioned violence, the pestilence of the AIDS crisis, and much degradation in the name of religious liberty, political exigence, and personal cowardice. Take your cues from your queer community by basing your work on a vision of the world you have not yet lived to see."
