✨Student Spotlight on Ryo Higuchi! ryo_higuchi_ ✨
.
Ryo is a sophomore studying accounting in the School of Business, the CEAS/EALC Japanese Language Table Leader, AND a student athlete on the KU track & field and cross-country team.
.
As language table leader, Ryo enjoys sharing his language and culture with American students and hopes that “students will practice and improve their Japanese language skills while having fun.”
.
Outside of teaching Japanese, you can find Ryo training for track meets and hanging out with his teammates. His specialty is middle-distance events and his skills showed when he received a national title in Japan this past summer!!
.
KU is lucky to have Ryo and CEAS is thankful to have such a great student as a part of our team! Thank you, Ryo! 🤩
