## Caption

Nia DaCosta is set to direct the upcoming “Captain Marvel” sequel making her the FIRST Black woman director to tackle the Marvel Universe. Nia released one film in theaters at the time (Candyman in 2018), and also received an outstanding recommendation from Jordan Peele for the director role. This led to Nia making history in the Marvel franchise! ✊🏾💓#womenshistorymonth #aryexwhm #whm
