Netta Dobbins and Bianca Jeanty started a GroupMe chat called “Minorities in Media” to network with other people of color in media. Eventually, the GroupMe led to MiMConnect, an emerging content and networking platform designed to provide BIPOC professionals with job opportunities and related resources.
