For most of Craig Melvin’s life his father was in a battle with alcoholism. Craig wasn’t able to quantify its effect on him until he started his own family. Finally, they’d all had enough, & decided to stage another intervention. 

To his credit his father listened, hopped in the back of the SUV, & never drank again. Craig & his father went on a beautiful journey of reconciliation that Craig shared in his book written during Covid, “Pops: Learning to be a son & a father”.
