I spent two years doing exactly what the school told me to do.

Every meeting, every strategy, every boundary they suggested. 

I followed it all.

And every single term it got worse.

It took me a long time to understand that the advice wasn’t failing because I was inconsistent. 

It was failing because it was built for a different problem.

The school was solving for attendance. 
My daughter’s nervous system was solving for survival.

Those require completely different responses. 
And nobody told me that until I found it myself.
