Meet C1C John Stevenson, a Systems Engineering major from Fairbanks, Alaska. ❄️
 
John chose #USAFA to defend our nation and surround himself with others committed to that same purpose. 🇺🇸
 
He comes from a proud military family, with his dad serving as an officer in the usairforce and his grandfather in the usarmy. 🪖 That legacy of service inspired John to pursue his own path as a warfighter.
 
After graduation, John will commission into the usspaceforce, drawn to its growing importance in modern warfare and the opportunity to help shape a new force. 🛰️
 
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲:

🌌 𝐢𝟓 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫. Led a global 1,000+ cadet organization focused on space defense and collaboration
 
The Academy has placed him in challenging leadership environments, preparing him to lead with integrity, adapt quickly and stay mission-focused in complex domains.
