Jefferson understood the importance of the individual right to self-defense from both man and tyranny. The Spirit of Resistance is something uniquely American and we the people must remind our government that we will always possess it. The Second Amendment is the embodiment and protection of our inherent, individual right to defend ourselves. This right is not given to us by any government and therefore no government has the right to take it away.

AN ARMED PEOPLE IS A FREE PEOPLE.
