There’s a film set in Ottawa where a modern-day Jesus returns and teams up with a legendary masked Mexican wrestler to protect the city from a full-on vampire threat. And somehow… that’s only the beginning of how wild it gets.

The story follows Jesus navigating present-day Ottawa while trying to save a targeted community from supernatural danger, blending martial arts action, religious satire, horror elements, and pure B-movie chaos into one completely unpredictable experience. 

The twist of him teaming up with a wrestler to fight vampires feels unreal, but that’s exactly what makes the film stand out.

What makes it even crazier is how low-budget it is. The visuals, acting, and effects all lean into that raw indie style, but instead of hurting the movie, it actually adds to its charm. It’s one of those films that doesn’t try to be perfect… it just fully commits to being different, and that’s why people still remember it years later.

Over time, it’s built a serious cult following. Fans of weird and unconventional cinema call it a hidden gem because of how unique the concept is. It completely ignores traditional storytelling rules and just creates something that honestly shouldn’t work… but somehow does.
