They claim this was a deliberate att*ck by Israel, who knew they were there, in order to ‘silence’ them‼️😨

RT correspondent Steve Sweeney and his cameraman, Ali Rida, were wounded after an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, in a moment that’s now spreading rapidly online.

Reports say an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at their vehicle as they were crossing a bridge near a military base. The explosion struck dangerously close, leaving both men with shrapnel injuries.

Both Sweeney and Ali Rida are conscious and receiving medical treatment.

Following the incident, both journalists and RT News alleged the strike was deliberate, claiming Israeli forces were monitoring the area and aware of movement in and out of the location. They say this indicates the crew was knowingly targeted in what they describe as an attempt to silence their reporting.

The incident is now drawing increased scrutiny over journalist safety in active conflict zones.
